I f you haven't seen these before- I am more than happy to bring them up on this forum.

I consider these almost stylized matte paintings.
Obvious photoreference is a must to try and keep a semblance of historical accuracy, yet (as with most of my swork) when I actually paint- I always try to infuse the subject matter with a kind of a hyper -idealized skew to to everything.
In attempt to take an already dramatic scene to a more intense level. Naturally balance and flow of composition also works it's way into my paintings if I can
