With the Battle of Britain being one of the most pivitol air battles of WW2 -I felt I had to represent the British Spitfire.
(with plans of a BF 109 fighter already in the works)
As well as from popular demand.
I wanted to tie in the celtic faeirie belief by having the moth wings on this particular Victory Gal, and then have their markings echo that of the RAF.
plumetting to it's doom is a Heinkel HE 111 German bomber.
Done entirely in Photoshop - The lingerie is a conglomeration of various styled vintage pieces from that era. I wanted the tones of this one to be somewhat grey and muted to better convey the wet and foggy climate.
