A personal piece created that I had been envisioning for some time, I have always been fascinated by the pin up art on WW2 bombers. How they inspired the pilots and the sense of style that they had retained even to this day. I wanted to show the materializing of one of these images into a sort of protective totem-like spirit. I enjoyed working on this subject so much (done entirely from pencil to finish in PS) that I hope to do a series of these gals in different air combat scenarios.
